Montzen, the name of the village dates from 1075. The village has the largest town square in the region. It is with its kiosk, fountain and monument to the victims of the two wars, with old houses alongside some stately houses, a homogeneous set. The decanal church and the bell tower renaissance style is dedicated to Saint-Etienne.
Castle Steversdorp, known locally as Castle Graaf, dates from the 13th century and forms with its tower, unfortunately in ruins, its dungeon and pond a real medieval setting. Beautiful walks to various hamlets and localities will make you discover new panoramas.
